About the event

Part of an outreach program in it's 3rd year - Maui Grown 808 has been creating pilina, sharing experiences and perpetuating Pacific Islander Cultural Art forms for almost 10 years. Based in Lahaina Maui, they took it to the continent in 2022 and have since reached the East Coast through the North Carolina Pacific Arts Fest, as far north as Cordova, Alaska with their first Nations, up and down the West Coast and even going international this past summer with a trip to British Columbia! Excited to return to where it started - Wakinekona! (Washington State)

This workshop is a great starter as the wreath is also the brim of a hat and the sides of a bowl. Decorating it is an added bonus for creativity, positivity and a stress reliever - come join the fun!
